If I were a dog

I would see the world differently

Blue, gray, and yellow

Instead of violet, green, and red

I would piss wherever I want

Achieving my only life's ambition

I would be someone's good girl

In a new, unsexual way

Hugged and kissed on the muzzle

By complete strangers

Playing with stick, chasing ducks

Basking in unconditional love

What a life it would be

They say no one will love you

as much as a human

But only if you are a dog

When I die, I want to come back

As a dog.
